Most surprising show?
Fight Like Apes @ Glastonbury. I’d caught them twice thus far that year and they’d been extremely disappointing and lacked their manic energy. At Glastonbury though, the blokes turned up in Lycra bodysuits whilst May Kay had one of the most ridiculously over the top dresses ever. They proceeded to be mental for 30 minutes.

Most disappointing?
The Antlers @ Club Academy, Manchester. They were incredibly boring to watch and barely spoke to the crowd. I nearly fell asleep.
